Profile
A proactive and detail-oriented technology professional with a background in hands-on support and a compelling portfolio of self-directed projects. Demonstrating a methodical approach to diagnosing issues down to their root cause and building pragmatic, reliable systems. Driven by a deep curiosity to solve complex technical challenges, particularly in unconventional or resource-constrained environments.
Technical Projects
- Develop and maintain a full Debian 13 distribution for obsolete embedded hardware, featuring an automated bash pipeline that manages the entire lifecycle: automated kernel rebasing and building, rootfs bootstrapping, and final disk image creation.
- Executed a major kernel version rebase (v6.1 to v6.12), isolating the essential hardware-specific patches from a complex Git history and resolving the resulting API and build system conflicts.
- Added irtt support to cake-autorate, a dynamic traffic shaper for OpenWrt that mitigates bufferbloat, providing a crucial UDP source of One-Way Delay (OWD) data where ICMP Timestamps are blocked.
- Engineered the integration to adapt irtt's non-daemonized design by implementing a gawk parser within a bash wrapper that ensures reliable process cleanup.
- Developed this full-featured C# WinForms application as an early project, implementing a real-time report queue, syntax-highlighted chat logs, and integrated moderation controls to solve moderator workflow issues.
